HOW TO GET TO AIT …
Coming by car
....from
North (Ag. Paraskevi - Stavros - Gerakas):
Direct to the East of Athens
At the crossing of Messogion Ave. and Lavriou Ave. at Stavros take Lavriou Ave. to Peania/Lavrio.
Pass through Glyka Nera
At the entrance of Peania keep left at the traffic lights direction Koropi/Markopoulo (don't pass the center of Peania)
After about 2 km, at the exit of Peania the road forks:
keep left (direction Markopoulo) to go to AIT
Remark: The distance between Stavros and AIT is about 9 km. Depending on traffic density you will need about 15-20 minutes.

South
Drive on the coastal Poseidon Ave., direction Vari, or drive on Vouliagmenis Ave. direction Vari
In Vari turn left, direct to Koropi (about 30-40 minutes)
Drive through Koropi, direction to Peania
After approx. 4-5 minutes you will arrive at AIT (right hand)
Remark: Depending on traffic density you will need about 30-40 minutes from Vari to AIT
....from Attiki Odos
If you use Attiki Odos, take exit No.18 "Peanias-Spaton" towards Paiania. Then simply follow the blue signs leading to AIT. You will need about 5 minutes.

The easiest way to go to AIT directly from Athens International Airport is by taxi. The taxi queue starts from Door 4 of the Arrivals Level and extends up to Door 1.

If you want to rent a car you can find several car rental companies in the new Arrivals level at the Main Terminal Building.

Airport to AIT
Leaving the airport direct to ATHINA
Drive on the "Attiki" Road and leave it at the "Peania" exit.
Follow the street direction to Peania
At the first traffic light (Shell gasstation) turn left
After about 500 meters the road forks. Follow the left road to Markopoulo and you will reach AIT after 800 m on the right.
Remark: Depending on traffic density you will need about 15-20 Minutes.

by public transport from Athens
....from OMONIA:
Take the metro line 2 (->AG. DIMITRIOS) and get off at SYNTAGMA (5 minutes).
.... from SYNTAGMA to AIT:
Take the metro line 3 (-> ETHNIKI AMYNA) and get off at ETHNIKI AMYNA (8 minutes).
At ETHNIKI AMYNA change to bus line 308 (ST.ETHN. AMYNAS - PAIANIA - KOROPI) or 125 (ST. ETHN. AMYNAS - PAIANIA-VARKIZA) to Paiania.
Get off at the "Folia" bus stop at Koropi Ave. (about 1 km after the turn-off to Koropi) and direct to INTRACOM's gate (AIT is located next to INTRACOM's premises).
Remark:
According to traffic density you will need about 40-50 minutes
from ETHNIKI AMYNA to AIT

using PROASTIAKOS:
Take the Proastiakos railway (-> ETHNIKI AMYNA) and get off at KOROPI station.
At KOROPI change to bus line 310 (PROAS. ST. KOROPIOY-PAIANIA - SEA AT. ODOY) to Paiania.
Get off at "2nd L. MARKOPOYLOY" bus stop, outside AIT's gate.
